Whether it is for physical reasons or spiritual there are many benefits to fasting as well as a few risks. It all depends on how intense the fast is. The longer it is the more risk it may have on somebody especially if they have no prior fasting experience.

    Having a total body cleanse is something everyone should consider doing at some point. Let’s face it with all the unhealthy things we put in our bodies, our insides need a good cleaning out. Think about how we take a shower or bath to wash our hair, body, hands, feet and faces. We do this at least a few times a week if not every day. And what about our mouths? We brush our teeth, floss and use mouth wash, all to eliminate bacteria. So why not our internal system? I would think our pipes would benefit from a cleansing.
